UNHCR partners in Moldova
The UNHCR in Moldova works with the Refugee Directorate, Bureau for Asylum and Migration, Ministry of Internal Affairs, who deals with RSD and Strengthening of the Asylum System in Moldova. In its efforts to protect refugees and to promote solutions to their problems, UNHCR works in partnership with government and its Implementing Partners: Save the Children, Charity Centre for Refugees, Law Centre for Advocates and Society for Refugees.
UNHCR maintains good cooperation with the UN Agencies in Moldova as well as the OSCE and other international missions (WB, SIDA, DIFID, SDC etc.). UNHCR continues the cooperation with the Council of Europe on the application of the European Convention on Human Rights and with IOM on issues related to management of irregular migration.
