Key government partners are: the State Committee for Nationalities and Migration, the Regional Migration Services in Zakarpattia, Odesa, Kyiv province, and Kyiv City.

Key NGO partners are: HIAS Legal Protection Service and the Charitable Foundation Rokada in Kyiv, the Foundation for Refugees "Sympathy" in Odesa, "Assistance" Foundation in Crimea, NEEKA in Zakarpattia as well as six other NGO partners.

UNHCR Kyiv actively participates in the activities of the UN country team in Ukraine, on HIV/AIDS prevention and the UN theme group on prevention of human trafficking. Through its work with refugees, UNHCR contributes to the achievement of the UN Millennium Developments Goals.

UNHCR’s programs are financed by voluntary contributions, mainly from governments, but also from other groups, including private citizens and organizations.
